Testing Standards Development for Apparel (AATCC, ASTM, ISO, JIS)

Things to consider:

Textile testing and product quality assurance go hand-in-hand. You cannot have one without the other.

  1. Is your company missing testing standards for its textile products? Or does it need to develop standards from scratch?

  2. Does your company have testing standards but experience a high volume of customer returns or complaints? Do the existing standards need refinement?

ANSI-Certified High Visibility Safety Apparel

Pre-certification Evaluation

Testing for garment certification of ANSI-certified high visibility product can be very costly. If you are interested in developing new safety product or expanding an existing line of safety apparel, you will need to check a long list of boxes. TexDynamics can help by conducting a pre-evaluation of garment samples to ensure it meets several critical requirements. Send garments (or accessories) to TexDynamics and they will be evaluated under the current ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 standard. See below for a general list of evaluations that TexDynamics will perform.

  1. Background Area (Class-specific)

  2. Retroreflective tape area (Class-specific)

  3. Retroreflective tape placement

*TexDynamics conducts evaluation for all of the above requirements only and does not guarantee the fabric color, lightfastness, or degree of reflexivity will pass for any given sample. Fabric and retroreflective tape performance must be handled directly with the supplier.

Fabric Library & Fabric Database

Starting a Fabric Library or organizing an existing library can be a daunting task. Does your company have a vast collection of fabrics that aren’t accessible or organized by which anyone can view them quickly and easily? TexDynamics can help your company get started by creating a step-by-step plan by which you can start and maintain a fabric library or database.

Quality Manual writing for Apparel & Accessories

Perhaps one of the most important tools of the trade is having a Quality Manual. One that can be tracked, distributed, and modified easily. One that can also be shared with suppliers or internal teams with just a few clicks. Documenting performance standards and requirements for each product category is essential. It is no small task, but one that is worth the time and investment for the sake of clarity and consistency among the supply chain.
